Continuous coil feeding with in-line straightening substantially reduces bar-change interruptions and bar-end remnants. When machining micro-components such as Ø0.5mm parts, wire closer to the finished diameter reduces machining allowance, chip volume, raw-material consumption, and cycle time. The rotary-tool process performs turning and cut-off while the workpiece remains stationary, producing an end face without a center pip. It is designed for continuous production of Ø0.3–Ø4mm precision components.
